Historien Français du Nazisme, Johann Chapoutot est venu à Bordeaux dans le cadre des conférences interdisciplinaires organisées par Andreas Bikfalvi. Sa conférence avait pour sujet les racines biologiques du Nazisme. Ci-joint le lien:

Des conférences interdisciplinaires seront régulièrement organisées par INSERM U1029 en invitant des mathématiciens, historien, philosophes, sociologues, biologistes, médecins etc… à partie de la rentrée 2019.

La première conférence sera faite par Johann Chapoutot, historien français du Nazisme et il va nous parler du biologisme dans la philosophie national socialiste et du mouvement eugénique en général. Il est l’historien français le plus brillant de cette époque.

Our article on the construction of artificial blood vessels is out today in SCIENCE Adv. This was a fruitful collaboration between the Bikfalvi Lab (INSERM U1029) and the Nassoy Lab (Institut Optique d’Aquitaine, CNRS, UMR5298).

Gerhard is Professor at the university of Basel and a leading figure in tumor microenvironment research. He did his post-doc with Doug Hanahan at UCSF, moved then to Vienna at the IMP and finally to Basel at the Biozentrum. He published many papers on the subject and has recently turned his attention into reprogramming tumor cells to become…FAT CELLS !!! This was recently published in Cancer Cell.

He will be in Bordeaux May 7 for a seminar to talk about his recent work.
