Post-doctoral position starting on September 1st, 2020

A post-doctoral position starting on September 1st, 2020 is currently open in the laboratory of angiogenesis and cancer microenvironment INSERM Unit1029 at the University of Bordeaux in the field of tumor angiogenesis and metastasis. The proposed post-doctoral project, dealing with the processes of invasion and metastasis will be conducted within the dynamic interaction between fundamental and clinical research. During the first year of the project (potential additional 1 year), the candidate will investigate the effect of a newly identified tumor suppressor marker by our team in tumor progression and angiogenesis.

Interdisciplinary conferences

Interdisciplinary conferences will be regularly organized by INSERM U1029 inviting mathematicians, historians, philosophers, sociologists, biologists, doctors etc … from the september 2019.

The first lecturer will be made by Johann Chapoutot, French historian of Nazism and he will talk about biologism in the national socialism philosophy and the eugenic movement in general. He is the most brilliant French historian of that time.

Seminar in “Concepts in Cancer and Vascular Biology”

Michael Detmar, Professor at the ETH in Zurich,  will speak at a seminar on june 28 2018 in Bordeaux. He is an internationally recognized expert on lymphangiogenesis specially related to cancer. Detailed informations will come later.

HDR Defense of Clotilde Billotet
